Abstract
Matematika je sastavni dio modernog života i ima vrlo važnu ulogu u životu pojedinca i društva. Jedan od glavnih razloga učenja matematike je kritičko mišljenje te samostalno rješavanje problema. Pomoću matematike pronalazimo rješenja za mnoge druge probleme koji nisu vezani samo za matematiku. Usprkos njenoj važnosti Matematika je nažalost na glasu kao težak predmet koji se teško uči i razumije. Ona ima funkcionalnu, estetičnu i logičnu vrijednost, ali ponekad pod utjecajem okoline, u društvu, u školi doživimo negativne emocije koje prerastaju u negativne stavove prema matematici. Iako u ovom istraživanju koje je provedeno na 453 ispitanika, pokazalo se kako učenici vole matematiku te imaju pozitivne stavove prema ovom nastavnom predmetu. Pokazalo se kako učenici na početku školovanja imaju pozitivne stavove koji tijekom godina opadaju, a negativni stavovi rastu. Učenici i učenice ne razlikuju se po pozitivnim i negativnim stavovima i ne razlikuju se po najčešćoj ocjeni koju imaju iz matematike.
Abstract (english)
Mathematics is an integral part of modern life and plays a very important role in the life of an individual and society. One of the main reasons for learning math is critical thinking and solving problems. Using math, we find solutions to many other problems not related to mathematics alone. Despite its importance, Mathematics is unfortunate in its voice as a difficult subject that is difficult to learn and understand. It has a functional, aesthetic and logical value, but sometimes under the influence of the environment, in society, in school we experience negative emotions that evolve into negative attitudes towards mathematics. Although in this study, which was conducted on 453 subjects, it was shown that students love math and have positive attitudes towards this subject. It turned out that students at the beginning of schooling have positive attitudes that decline over the years, and negative attitudes grow. Students and apprentices do not differ in their positive and negative attitudes and do not differ in their most common grade in mathematics.
