Abstract
Tema je ovoga rada „Arhitektura grada Hvara u razdoblju od XV. do XVII. stoljeća“. U radu se uzima u obzir širi povijesni i umjetnički kontekst grada Hvara. Isti započinje analizom javnih zgrada i objekata značajnih za gradsku arhitekturu i urbanizam (Tvrđava Fortica − Kaštel Fortica, Arsenal i Fontik, Mandrać, Gradska lođa sa satom, Pjaca i zdenci) koje slijede građevine važne za sakralnu arhitekturu (Katedrala, Sv. Stjepan na Marinkovcu, Dominikanska crkva i samostan sv. Marka, Franjevačka crkva i samostan Gospe od Milosti, te mnogobrojne druge crkve). Na kraju rada obrađuju se najvažniji objekti stambene arhitekture grada Hvara, s naglaskom na njihovu lokaciju i vrstu gradnje (ljetna kuća Hanibala Lucića, palača obitelji Hektorović, palača obitelji Radošević, donja palača obitelji Paladinić te palača Jakša). Zaključak se sastoji od autoričina osobnog mišljenja kao i od određenih značajki glede načina na koji se navedene građevine uklapaju u gradsku arhitekturu i urbanizam.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper is “The architecture of the City of Hvar from 15th to 18th century”. The paper takes into consideration a wider historic and artistic context of the City of Hvar. It begins with an analysis of public buildings and objects significant for the city’s architecture (Fort Fortica − Kaštel Fortica, Arsenal and Fontik, Mandrać, City lodge with a clock − Gradska lođa sa satom, Bazaar − Pjaca and Wells − Zdenci) followed by religious buildings (Cathedral, St. Stephen on Marinkovac − Sv. Stjepan na Marinkovcu, Dominican Church and monastery of St. Mark, Franciscan church and monastery of Our Lady of Mercy – Gospa od Milosti, as well as many chapels). Finally, this paper deals with the most important objects regarding housing architecture of the City of Hvar, focusing on their location and type of construction (summer residence of Hanibal Lucić, the palace of family Hektorović, the palace of family Radošević, the second palace of family Paladinić, the palace Jakša). The conclusion includes the author’s personal opinion and presents certain characteristics regarding the way these building fit into the city’s architecture.
