Abstract
Svakim danom raste broj korisnika interneta, mobitela i ostalih modernih tehnologija, a zajedno s njime raste i broj slučajeva povreda prava djece putem novih tehnologija. Nažalost, u budućnosti, možemo očekivati porast ovakve vrste nasilja. Stoga ovaj problem zahtijeva brzu reakciju cjelokupne društvene zajednice, na zakonodavnoj, praktičnoj, a posebno na preventivnoj razini. Zaštiti djece u virtualnom svijetu svakako bi doprinijelo poučavanje djece o opasnostima intemeta, njegovu pravilnom korištenju, odgovornom ponašanju i o mogućnostima njihove zaštite. Odgovornost u edukaciji djece u vezi pravilnog korištenja i ponašanja na internetu je na svima koji imaju ulogu u djetetovom odgoju i obrazovanju, a posebice na učiteljima koji mogu educirati ne samo djecu, već i njihove roditelje koji onda mogu djecu štititi od štetnih strana interneta i kod kuće. Štoviše, edukacija kako roditelja tako i djece o sigurnom korištenju interneta je od iznimne važnosti jer se samo pravilnom edukacijom može spriječiti nasilje i poučiti djecu o sigurnom i kvalitetnom korištenju medija.
Abstract (english)
The number of users of Internet, mobile phones and other modern technologies is increasing every day, and with it the number of cases of violations of children's rights through new technologies is also increasing. Unfortunately, we can expect an increase in this type of violence in the future. Therefore, this problem requires a rapid response from the whole social community, at the legislative, practical and especially preventive level. Educating children about the dangers of the Internet, its proper use, responsible behavior, and ways of then- protection would certainly contribute to the protection of children in the virtual world. The responsibility for educating children about the proper use and behavior on the Internet rests with all those who play a role in the child's upbringing and education, especially with teachers who can educate not only children but also their parents, who can then protect their children from the harmful sides of the Internet at home. Moreover, educating both parents and children on safe Internet use is of utmost importance, because only proper education can prevent violence and teach children about safe and quality media use.
