Abstract
Rad se bavi umjetničkim razvojem u Splitu u međuratnom razdoblju i stoga obuhvaća period od kraja Prvog svjetskog rata do početka Drugog svjetskog rata s nekim iznimkama koje su se dogodile u prijeratno doba koje su važne za razumijevanje kasnijih razvoja i pojava. Prije govora o tome kako je došlo do razvoja umjetnosti, daje se uvid o stanju u Splitu i o političkim prilikama tog doba. Nakon toga slijedi razvoj umjetnosti, u što spada spomen splitskog načelnika Ive Tartaglie, stvaranje muzeja i galerija te društava koji su bili od iznimnog značaja. Nakon toga, u samoj srži rada, riječ je o nekim granama umjetnosti, poput slikarstva, kiparstva i arhitekture, kao i o dramskoj i glazbenoj sceni. U tim poglavljima se govori o nekim najznačajnijim osobama, o njihovim djelima i o doprinosu. Pozornost se pridodaje i postavljanju spomenika Grgura Ninskog na Peristil, jednog od značajnijih događaja koji je obilježio međuratno razdoblje. Na kraju, dolazi se do zaključka u kojem se sažima sva važnost koja je izrečena u prethodnim poglavljima.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with artistic development in Split during the interwar period and covers the period from the end of the First World War to the beginning of the Second World War with some exceptions that occurred in the pre-war era that are important for understanding later developments and phenomena. Before talking about how the development of art came about, it gives an insight into the situation in Split and the political circumstances of the time. This was followed by the development of art, which included the mention of Split mayor Ivo Tartaglia, the creation of museums and galleries and societies that were of great importance. After that, at the very core of the work, it is about some branches of art, such as painting, sculpture and architecture, as well as the drama and music scene. These chapters talk about some of the most significant people, their works and their contributions. Attention is also paid to the setting of the monument to Gregory of Nin on the Peristyle, one of the most significant events that marked the interwar period. Finally, a conclusion is drawn up which summarizes all the importance stated in the previous chapters.
