Abstract
Strah je sastavni dio dječjeg razvoja. Javlja se po rođenju, a kroz stupnjeve dječjeg razvoja mijenja svoje oblike. S obzirom da je odrastanje proces usvajanja novih iskustava i znanja, česta je pojava strahova kod djece. Svaki strah ne mora nužno biti loš i svaki se strah može prebroditi. Intenzitet straha razlikuje se od pojedinca do pojedinca, ali zajedničko svima njima jest da se ne smiju zanemarivati. Potrebno je da roditelji i odgojitelji osluškuju i prepoznaju dječje strahove te na njih odgovore adekvatnom potporom kako bi im omogućili neometan razvoj samouvjerenog i sigurnog djeteta.
Abstract (english)
Fear is an integral part of child development. It occurs at birth and changes its forms through different stages of child development. Since growing up is a process of gaining new experiences and learning new skills, it is a common reason for insecurity in children. It is important for parents to teach their child that not every fear is necessarily bad and that it can be overcome. The intensity of fear may vary from child to child, but what all fears have in common is that they should not be ignored. It is necessary for parents and preschool teachers to listen to children's fears and respond to them with support because that is the only way to ensure the proper development of a child who feels self-confident and safe.
