Abstract
U današnjem vremenu, ne možemo ni zamisliti život bez Interneta. Od samih početaka služio je povezivanju ljudi, a do danas je toliko napredovao da se njime služimo u gotovo svim sferama našeg života. Lako je dostupan te omogućava prikupljanje, dijeljenje i razmjenu informacija. Olakšava komunikaciju i svakodnevne obaveze, a nudi i razne interaktivne sadržaje. Pruža brojne korisne mogućnosti, no uvijek postoje rizici prevare, krađe, zlostavljanja i slično. U ovom istraživanju sudjelovalo je 200 ispitanika, mladih od 18 do 28 godina, te su ispitana njihova iskustva, stavovi i mišljenja o internetskim opasnostima. Rezultati pokazuju da su se mladi u većini slučaja susretali s opasnostima, a najviše s prijevarama putem elektroničke pošte, odnosno virusima, uznemiravanjem i krađom novca. Što se tiče informiranosti o internetskim opasnostima, polovina ispitanika smatra da su upoznati s većinom opasnosti, a nešto manje od polovine osjeća se donekle sigurno na Internetu. Muška populacija više se susreće s opasnostima, no sigurnije se osjećaju na Internetu od žena. Iako Internet sve više napreduje i sadrži brojne opcije interakcije, to i dalje nije dovoljno da zadovolji ljudske potrebe za socijalizacijom u stvarnom svijetu.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, we can’t even imagine life without the Internet. From the very beginning, it has been used to connect people, and till today it has progressed so far that we use it in almost every sphere of our life. It is easy to access and allows the collecting, sharing and exchange of information. It makes communication and daily obligations easier, and also offers various interactive contents. It provides many useful options, but there are always risks of fraud, theft, abuse and other. 200 respondents, young people aged 18 to 28, participated in this research, and their experiences, attitudes and opinions about Internet dangers were examined. The results show that young people have experienced dangers in most cases, mostly with e-mail fraud or viruses, harassment and money theft. When it comes to being informed about Internet dangers, half of the respondents think they are aware of most dangers, and slightly less than half feel somewhat safe on the Internet. The male population is more likely to face dangers, but still, they feel safer on the Internet than females. Although, the Internet is constantly advancing and contains numerous interaction options, but that is still not enough to satisfy human needs for socialization in the real world.
