Abstract
Montessori pedagogija djeluje na temeljnom načelu emancipacije djeteta kao ličnosti. To se ostvaruje uvažavanjem njegovih potreba, kao i vrednovanjem njegovih sposobnosti i napredovanja u sazrijevanju. Glavna pedagoška načela Montessori pedagogije su promatranje djeteta i individualan pristup svakom djetetu. Stoga Maria Montessori otvara „ Dječju kuću“, funkcionalan i ugodan prostor, u kojem djeca rade i uče. Prvu „Dječju kuću“ je otvorila 1907. godine u Italiji. U ovom radu se stavlja naglasak na primjenu Montessori materijala u dječjim vrtićima. Svi materijali su izrađeni od prirodnih materijala i prilagođeni su djetetu veličinom, oblikom te namjenom. Specijalno za potrebe djeteta treba pripremiti okolinu u kojoj ono boravi, materijale koji zadovoljavaju pedagoška i didaktička načela koja je Maria Montessori osmislila. Maria Montessori je smatrala da će ona djeca, kojima je dana sloboda izbora i sloboda djelovanja, doživjeti optimalan razvoj u okruženju koje je konstruirano prema njenom modelu. Vrlo važnu ulogu imaju odgojitelji/ce koji promatraju i valoriziraju napredak koji djeca postižu u svom razvoju. Uloga odgojitelja je uloga koordinatora. Oni su spremni pomoći i usmjeravati dijete, ukoliko je to potrebno, ili dijete to zatraži. Standardi, koje je Montessori sama postavila, sačuvali su svoju aktualnost sve do danas.
Abstract (english)
Montessori pedagogy works on a basic principle of child emancipation as a person. This is done by taking into their needs as well as evaluating his/her abilities and maturation progress. The main pedagogical principles of Montessori pedagogy are child watching and individual approach to each one of them. Therefore, Maria Montessori opens "Children's house", functional and comfortable space where children work and learn. The first "Children's House" was opened in 1907 in Italy. This paper focuses on the application of Montessori materials in kindergartens. First of all, it is necessarily to prepare environment in which children would reside and materials that should meet Maria Montessori pedagogical and didactic principles. Maria Montessori believed that a children who was given the freedom of choice and action, would experience optimal development in an environment designed according to her model. Educators play an important role observing and evaluating children's developmental progress. The role of educators is the role of coordinator, they are willing to help and guide the child if necessary or requested. The standards Montessori set preserved their actuality to this day.
