Within this paper, a review of the history and development of surveilliance within human society is presented. The subject of the society of surveilliance was the development of the subject and the relationship with the question of privacy. Several authors such as H. Marcuse were mentioned, within which the relationship of freedom and criticism was observed. The study of theory of surveillance by M. Foucalt and M. Castells network society was studied. To complete the theoretical review of the authors,we studied control by N. Chomsky. Through the theme of virtuality, the advantages and disadvantages of a networked society are described, which can all be used to misuse the notion of security. For the conclusion of the theoretical part, there is a notion of security in which the subject of deviation, undesirable and desirable behavior is treated. There was also a sociological research in which two research methods were used; A in-depth interview and a survey. The subject of this research deals with the relationship between security and control in everyday life. The research will be conducted in two parts. The first part concerns the examination of the type of surveilliance depending on the workplace and qualitative methods will be used in that approach. The second part of the research will examine the perception of the level of security and the impact on privacy on a larger sample and in that part will be used a qualitative approach.
