Abstract (english)
The work presents a fragment of Ivan Slamnig's poetry, taken mostly from his poetry book Naronska siesta, seen through the eyes of Mediterranean phenomenon. The author is seeking to enlighten the phenomenon in question and to distinguish the geographical and cultural characteristic of Mediterranean area and its habitus relaying on imagological approach, at the same time trying to clarify the influence this particular territory had on the literature which has developed in the area. The general characteristics of Slamnig's poetic discourse will also be brought out as well as the distinctive elements from fellow poets.
