Abstract
Unutar teorijskog okvira sociologije pučke religije cilj ovog rada je prikazati mišljenja i stavove studenata Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu o proslavi blagdana sv. Duje. Kako bi proveli ovo istraživanje, koristili smo metodu anketne za koju smo smatrali da je naj adekvatnija za ovaj predmet istraživanja. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od sto studenata različitih odsjeka Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu. Ispitana su konfesionalna/religijska identifikacija studenata, politička i društvena obilježja, kao i socio-strukturna obilježja. Provedeno istraživanje potvrdilo je kako su studenti skloniji naglašavati društvenu i kulturnu dimenziju proslave blagdana sv. Duje, također je potvrdilo i pretpostavku kako procjena važnosti samog blagdana dobrim dijelom ovisi o religijskoj samoidentifikaciji studenata, kao i da su svi studenti, neovisno o religijskoj samoidentifikaciji, prepoznali komercijalizaciju kao najveći problem proslave blagdana sv. Duje.
Abstract (english)
Within the theoretical framework of the sociology of the folk religion, the aim of this paper is to present the opinions and attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split on the celebration of the Feast of St.Dominus. To carry out this research, we used the survey method we considered to be the most suitable for this research topic. The survey was conducted on a sample of 100 students from different departments of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split. Confessional/religious identification of students, political and social characteristics, as well as socio-structural features, were studied. The conducted research has confirmed that the students are more inclined to emphasize the social and cultural dimension of the celebration of the Feast of St.Dominus. It also confirmed the hypothesis that estimating the importance of the holiday is largely dependent on religious self-identification of students and that all students, independent of religious self-identification commercialization as the biggest problem of the celebration of the Feast of St.Dominus.
