Abstract
Pružanje podrške roditeljima djece s posebnim potrebama tema je koja zauzima sve više prostora u stručnoj i znanstvenoj literaturi. Kako bi se dovoljan fokus stavio na prava roditelja potrebno je podići svijest društva o problemima i teškoćama s kojima se roditelji susreću. Kako bi se to ostvarilo potrebno je istražiti područja za koja se smatra da su rizična i na tim područjima roditeljima pružiti podršku. U radu su prikazani načini na koji se dosada pružala potrebna obrazovna i društvena podrška roditeljima djece s posebnim potrebama, te su prikazani neki od projekata provedenih na području Republike Hrvatske, a koji su se bavili navedenom tematikom. Osim projekata, koji su se pokazali jako učinkovitima, prikazani su i teorijski te zakonski modeli pružanja podrške koji su osnova za daljnje unapređenje podrške roditeljima djece s posebnim potrebama. Iako su sustavi za pružanje podrške roditeljima djece s posebnim potrebama još uvijek nedovoljno usklađeni, roditelji putem udruga i vlastitim aktivizmom pokušavaju poboljšati svoj položaj. Obrazovna i socijalna podrška roditeljima djece s posebnim potrebama je još uvijek u razvoju a cilj je da se pravovremeno i što učinkovitije počne pomagati svim roditeljima koji odgajaju djecu s posebnim potrebama.
Abstract (english)
Giving support to parents of children with special needs is a topic that is in focus of large number of professional and academic studies. In order to adequately recognize the rights of parents it is necessary to raise awareness of the society when it comes to problems and difficulties with which parents are faced every day. In order to achieve that goal it is necessary to explore areas that are considered to be risky and in those - parents should be provided with support. In this paper different ways of giving educational and social support to parents of children with special needs are presented, in addition the paper includes description of projects focusing on support to parents of children with special needs that had been implemented in Croatia. Besides projects, which turned out to be very successful, theoretical and legitimate models of giving support, which are basis for further improvement of that area, are also analyzed. Although systems for giving support are still not well coordinated, parents try to improve their position through associations and their own activism. Educational and social support for parents of children with special needs is still developing and the goal is to organize timely and effective help to all parents that raise children with special needs.
