Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu provedena je analiza muške i ženske političke retorike u Hrvatskoj na primjerima pet odabranih govora Kolinde Grabar-Kitarović i pet odabranih govora Andreja Plenkovića. U teorijskom dijelu govori se o položaju i pravima žena kroz povijest te njihovom političkom istupanju. Također, raspravlja se i o retorici, političkom diskursu, muškom i ženskom političkom, diskursu. Glavni dio rada predstavlja istraživanje koje je podijeljeno u dva dijela. Prvi je dio lingvistička analiza unutar koje se proučavaju jezične osobitosti govora (korištenje pojedine vrste riječi i dr.). Drugi je dio retorička analiza unutar koje se proučavaju pitanja figurativnosti. Analizirano je korištenje figura, tropa, smicalica, argumenata autoriteta te uvodi i zaključci govora. Nakon analize, zaključeno je da u retorici Kolinde Grabar-Kitarović i Andreja Plenkovića nema toliko razlika na osnovi kojih bi se moglo generalno govoriti o razlikama između muške i ženske političke retorike. Retoriku je potrebno planirati, duboko promišljati i neprestano uvježbavati.
