Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je opisati slučaj jedne obitelji djeteta s teškoćama u razvoju. Slučaj je opisan od djetetovog rođenja do danas te su prikazana i očekivanja za budućnost djeteta. U ovom slučaju dijete ima usporen psihomotorni razvoj. U prvom dijelu rada prikazana je teorijska podloga o djeci s posebnim potrebama, djeci s teškoćama u razvoju te obiteljima djece s teškoćama u razvoju. U drugom dijelu rada prikazan je kratki teorijski opis studije slučaja i polustrukturiranih intervjua koji su se koristili pri istraživanju. Istraživanje provedeno na jednoj peteročlanoj obitelji u kojoj najmlađe dijete ima usporen psihomotorni razvoj. Istraživanje je provedeno održavanjem triju polustrukturiranih intervjua: s roditeljima i najstarijim djetetom. Analizom rezultata dobio se uvid u svakodnevnicu obitelji djeteta s teškoćama i opisani su problemi na koje je obitelj naišla, osobni rast i razvoj koji je doživjela, kao i utjecaj okoline. Ovaj rad trebao bi poslužiti roditeljima koji se nađu u sličnoj situaciji, stručnjacima koji rade s djecom s teškoćama kako bi bolje razumjeli roditelje i svakome tko želi znati više o temi.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to describe the case of a single family of a child with developmental difficulties. The study has described the path from the child’s birth to date, along so with the expectations for the future. In this case, the child has a slow psychomotor development. The first part of the paper represents the theoretical background of children with special needs, children with developmental difficulties and the families of such children. The second part of the paper presents brief theoretical descriptions of case study method and semi-structured interviews which were used in this study. The research was conducted on a family of five, where the youngest child has a slow psychomotor development. The research was carried out by three semi-structured interviews with parent and the oldest child. After analysing the results, an insight into the everyday life of a family with a disabled child was described. This covered a variety of areas, such as: the problems family encountered on their path, the support they had, the personal growth they experienced as well as the influence of their family and friends. This paper should serve parents who find themselves in similar situations, experts who work with children with disabilities for better understanding of the parent-side and to anyone else who wants to know more about the subject
