Abstract
Studenti svakodnevno proživljavaju različita iskustva, susreću se s različitim ljudima, upoznaju se s novim mjestima, imaju priliku osamostaliti se i steći nove životne navike. Tijekom studiranja doživljavaju i pozitivna i negativna iskustva te nailaze na određene akademske zahtjeve s kojima se ne mogu uvijek uspješno nositi. Pritisak fakultetskih obaveza, odnos s profesorima i/li kolegama, financijske poteškoće, ali i događaji u njihovom privatnom životu, postaju izvorom stresa i drugih problema. Pored toga, razvijaju se simptomi anksioznosti i depresije te generalno nezadovoljstvo vlastitim životom. Godinama se kao uspješna strategija za smanjenje takvih simptoma koristi ekspresivno pisanje, proces pisanog izražavanja emocija i misli o neugodnom, traumatskom iskustvu ili izvoru stresa, nakon kojega je primjetan pozitivan utjecaj na zdravlje i generalnu psihološku dobrobit. Cilj ovog rada je, prateći metodološki okvir obuhvatnih pregleda, prikazati načine provođenja ekspresivnog pisanja i učinke takve intervencije kod studentske populacije.
Abstract (english)
College students meet different people, get to know new places, have the opportunity to become independent and acquire new habits on a daily basis. During college they have a lot of positive and negative experiences, but the main issue is that they meet certain academic assignments and challenges which they can not always handle successfully. Not only the exam pressure, relationship with professors and peers, financial issues, but also events in their personal lives become source of stress and subsequent difficulties. Nevertheless, anxiety symptoms, as well as symptoms of depression and general dissatisfaction with one's life are occurring. For years, expressive writing, a process of expressing one's thoughts and emotions about traumatic event, upheavals, or source of stress, has been used as a successful strategy for reducing such symptoms and even has a positive impact on health and general psychological well-being. The aim of this paper is to show the methods of conducting expressive writing and the effects of such intervention among student population, following the scoping review methodological framework.
