Abstract
Ovim se radom istraţuju prednosti i nedostatci mjere struĉnog osposobljavanja bez zasnivanja radnog odnosa. TakoĊer, ispitivan je utjecaj korištenja mjere na daljnje zapošljavanje. Istraţivanje je provedeno u svibnju 2018. godine metodom ankete na uzorku od 207 mladih osoba do trideset godina starosti sa splitskog podruĉja. Kako je struĉno osposobljavanje mjera aktivne politike kojom se mlade osobe ukljuĉuje na trţište rada, nastojalo se utvrditi kakva su iskustva bivših polaznika mjere. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, osnovni razlozi za struĉno osposobljavanje su potreba za bilo kakvim radnim iskustvom, a posebno potreba za radom u struci i stjecanje formalnog radnog staţa. Uz pozitivna iskustva poput stjecanja novih znanja i poznanstava, ispitanici istiĉu negativa iskustva i nedostatke mjere poput nedostatne novĉane naknade i loših šansi za zapošljavanje nakon izlaska iz mjere, manjka prikupljenog struĉnog znanja, osjećaja iskorištenosti kao besplatne radne snage i ,,cirkularnosti“ mjere koja znatno oteţava zapošljavanje na radnom mjestu gdje je osposobljavanje provedeno. Zakljuĉno se moţe utvrditi kako mjera donosi tek privremeno rješenje nezaposlenosti mladih i ublaţava njezinu rasprostranjenost.
Abstract (english)
In this sociological research we tried to determine advantages and disadvantages of professional training without commencing employment. Also, we examined influence and significance of vocational training on further employment. The research is conducted in 2018 on the sample of 207 young persons up to thirty years old from Split. Considering that professional training is one of the employment active policy measures by which youth is included on the labour market, our focus was to determine what the experiences of former participants are. The data indicates that the main reason for vocational training is need for work experience, especially regarding the occupations respondents are formally educated for. Simultaneously, with positive experiences like acquiring new knowledge and acquaintances, there are also negative experiences like insufficient monetary compensation and low employment opportunities, lack of knowledge, feeling like free work force and ,,circularity” of employment, which makes more difficult to stay in the same workplace. To conclude, vocational training only brings a temporary solution to unemployment and "distorts" the reality of unemployment.
