Abstract
Sociološko istraživanje života mladih na otoku Visu provedeno je metodom etnografije na temelju polustrukturiranog intervjua i vizualne etnografije. S obzirom na odvojenost morem od kopna, odnosno izoliranost koja utječe na ukupni društveno-gospodarski razvoj, na uvjete života te na oblikovanje karakterističnih socio-psiholoških tipova otočana i njihovih zajednica, ovo istraživanje utemeljeno je na razmatranju tih koncepta u Komiži, koja slovi za jedno od najljepših dalmatinskih otočnih mjesta. Predmet etnografske studije bio je društveni život mladih u Komiži a cilj istraživanja otkriti skrivenu dimenziju njihovog društvenog života tokom jeseni i zime, točnije dobiti uvid kako i gdje se odvija društveni život. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju kako su mladi generalno nezadovoljni društvenim životom, ponudom kulturnozabavnog života mladih u Komiži, ističući kao glavni nedostatak nebrigu lokalne gradske uprave, nedostatak mladog stanovništva, želju za odlaskom ali i manjak optimizma i inertnost mladih koji žive na otoku, iako smatraju da među mladima postoji zajedništva i vjeruju u bolje sutra.
Abstract (english)
The social research of the life of young people on the island of Vis was conducted by the method of ethnography based on a semi-structured interview and visual ethnography. Considering the separation from the land of the sea, that is, isolation which affecting the overall socio-economic development, living conditions and the formation of characteristic sociopsychological types of islands and their communities, this research is based on the consideration of these concepts in Komiza, one of the most beautiful Dalmatian islands pleaces. The subject of ethnographic study was the social life of young people in Komiza, and the aim of the research was to reveal the hidden dimension of their social life during autumn and winter, to get an insight into how and where social life is taking place. The research results show that young people are generally unhappy with social life, with offering a cultural-entertaining youth life in Komiža, pointing out that the main lack is unconcern of local city administration, deficiency of young people, the desire to leave, but also the lack of optimism and inertia of young people living on the island, although they consider that there is a community among the young and believe in a better tomorrow.
