Abstract
Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi jezičnom interpretacijom nekoliko odabranih pjesama autora Antuna Branka Šimića. Lingvističko sagledavanje poetskih djela zahtijeva obradu s nekoliko jezičnih razina - fonološke, morfološke, sintaktičke i semantičke. Predmet obrade dvije su pjesme iz tradicionalne faze stvaranja spomenutog autora i dvije pjesme iz njegovog ekspresionističkog opusa. Svaka pjesma interpretirana je zasebno prema spomenutim razinama, a postupci koji je karakteriziraju povezani su sa sadržajnom razinom pjesme. Svaki od postupaka posjeduje određenu vrijednosnu ulogu. Neki od njih imaju sastavnu vrijednost motiviranja pjesničkih jedinica teksta dok druge karakterizira simbolistička uloga koja pridnosi smislenosti. Na kraju rada nalazi se poglavlje Kontrastna analiza odabranih pjesama koja iznosi sličnosti i razlike među pjesmama kao i obilježja koja ih čine dijelom razdoblja kojem pripadaju.
Abstract (english)
This thesis aims to review the linguistic conception of several poems by the author Antun Branko Šimić. Linguistic analysis of a poetic work requires processing on multiple linguistic levels - phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic. The objects of interpretation are two poems from Šimić’s traditional phase and two poems from his expressionist phase. Each poem is interpreted respectively, according to the aforementioned linguistic levels, and the encountered features are interlinked with the content of a certain poem. Each feature has a certain textual value. Some of them have a composing role to motivate poetic units of the text, while others have a symbolic role of contributing to its poetic meaning. The final chapter named Contrast analysis of the chosen poems contains all the similarities and differences between the poems, as well as their features that place them in a certain literary period.
