Abstract
Kvalitativnim istraživanjem razmatraju se kulturološki i sociologijski aspekti auto – moto sporta, kao i ekonomske prilike te mogućnosti aktivnog sudjelovanja u njemu. Istraživanje je provedeno tijekom srpnja i kolovoza 2018. godine na temelju polustrukturiranih intervjua s osam sadašnjih i bivših vozača auto – moto sporta. Intervjuirani ističu financijske, infrastrukturne i institucionalne probleme auto – moto sporta u Hrvatskoj. Većina njegovih oblika isključivo ovisi o natjecateljima, dok je podrška i organizacija nacionalnog saveza slaba. Prilike za bavljenje auto – moto sportom su veoma oskudne u vidu treninga, natjecanja i razvoja vozača, a rezultati daleko od prijašnjih uspjeha na ovim prostorima. Intervjuirani ističu potrebu većeg angažmana na lokalnoj i državnoj razini prilikom promocije auto-moto sporta i njegova razvitka.
Abstract (english)
This qualitative research considers the cultural and sociological aspects of motorsport as well as the economic opportunities for active participation in motorsport. The research was conducted during July and August 2018 on the basis of semi-structured interviews with eight current and former motorsport car drivers. Interviewees highlight the financial, infrastructure and institutional problems of motorsport in Croatia. Most of its forms depend solely on competitors, while the support and organization of the national alliance are weak. The opportunities to participate in motorsport are very scarce in terms of training, competition and driver development, and the results are far from the earlier achievements in this geographical area. Interviewees point out the need for greater engagement at the local and national level in promoting motorsport and its development
