Abstract
Cilj je ovoga rada prikazati ženski identitet u suvremenoj književnosti, s osvrtom na neke od najčešćih stereotipa kojima je ženstvo opterećeno. Žena kao majka, supruga, podčinjena žena, buntovnica, ljubavnica i prostituka samo su neki od elemenata ženskoga identiteta analizirani i prikazani u ovome radu. Zanimljive doživljaje ženstva i „drugu stranu medalje“ prikazuju priče proizišle iz muškoga pera. Također, prikazi žena u hrvatskoj, brazilskoj, francuskoj i turskoj književnosti upotpunjuju sliku ženstva prikazanu na taj način u različitim kulturama. Put svake od tih žena, njihov unutarnji svijet, poteškoće s kojima se susreću, reakcije okoline na njih zorno prikazane u odabranim djelima nude jasnu sliku ženstva u svim njegovim oblicima i okolnostima
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to represent female identity in contemporary literature by looking into some of the most common stereotypes which burden the female population. Woman as mother, wife, submitted woman, rebel, lover and prostitute are only some of the elements of female identity analyzed and represented in this thesis. Interesting insights into female identity and other side of the story are represented in the works written by men. Also, representation of females in Croatian, Brazilian, French and Turkish literature fulfill such a female representation among different cultures. The patch of each of these women, their inner world, difficulties that they encounter, reaction that they evoke in others vividly represented in the chosen works offer a clear picture of female identity in all its shapes and circumstances.
