Abstract
U ovom radu autorica razrađuje temu života i umjetnosti Andyja Warhola. Osim slikarstva, u rad su uključena i njegova filmska ostvarenja, kao i rad na području glazbe. Warhol je bio jedna vrsta genija, uspješan u svakom polju djelovanja: u umjetnosti, filmovima i glazbi (rad s grupom Velvet Underground). Iako dolazi iz siromašne obitelji, uspio je probiti put k uspjehu i ostvariti svoje snove. Tokom školovanja morao je svakodnevno raditi kako bi si mogao platiti školovanje. Počeo je raditi za nekoliko časopisa te kasnije postao svjetski poznat. Fascinirao ga je glamur Hollywooda i Los Angelesa. Utemeljitelj je studija Factory, u kojem su se okupljale njegove super zvijezde, i u kojem su nastajali njegovi filmovi i djela.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the author elaborates the subject of Andy Warhol and his art in general. Not only painting, but also his work including the movies and music. Warhol was a sort of a genius, successful in every field: art, movies, advertising. Although he had tough childhood, despite the fact that he comes from a very poor family, he managed to make his way out of that life and make his dreams come true. During his school days and later, during college, he had to work every summer to pay his education. He started in a few magazines and later became a world known artist. He was fascinated with Hollywood and Los Angeles, with all that glamour. Warhol is also a founder of the Factory, studio of his so called superstars, where they filmed a lot of their movies.
