Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je popisati i izložiti morfološke osobine jezika Frana Kurelca, reprezentativnog predstavnika riječke filološke škole, s posebnim osvrtom na sintaktičku uporabu pojednih morfoloških oblika, te rečene oblike potkrijepiti primjerima iz Kurelčevih tekstova, prvenstveno iz teksta njegova djela Fluminensia. Najvažnije osobine opisane u radu su deklinacija imenica i zamjenica u množini i dvojini, konjugacija glagola, te uporaba participa (glagolskih priloga). Uz primjere njihove uporabe prilažu se i potencijalni protuprimjeri i nekonzistentnosti koje su se prisutne u Kurelčevu jeziku, napose u uporabi dvojine. Zaključuje se da je Kurelčev primarni orijentir u pitanjima morfologije bila etimološka izvornost, što je rezultiralo njegovom ekstenzivnom uporabom arhaičnih oblika, te u nekim slučajevima oživljavanjem staroslavenskih oblika, koji predstavljaju primjer "prave arhaičnosti", t.j onih arhaičnih oblika za koje u tom vremenu nema potvrde u niti jednom hrvatskom dijalektu.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this paper is to list and present the morphological traits of the language of Fran Kurelac, the most prominent representative of the Rijeka Philological School, with a special emphasis on the syntactical use of certain morphological forms, and to support the examples from Kurelac's texts, primarily from the text of his book Fluminensia. The most important features described in the paper are the declension of nouns and pronouns in plural and dual, conjugation of verbs, and the use of participles. In addition to examples of their use, potential counterexamples and inconsistencies that are present in Kurelac's language are listed, especially in the use of the dual. It is concluded that Kurelac's primary orientation point when morphology was concerned was etymological authenticity, which resulted in his extensive use of archaic forms, and in some cases the revival of Old Church Slavonic forms, which represent an example of "real archaicity", that is, those archaic forms, that couldn't be found in any Croatian dialect at the time.
