Abstract
Završni rad se bavi proučavanjem Salone i analize njenih elemenata kroz perspektivu danskog arheologa i arhitekta Ejnara Dyggvea. Na početku daje kratki uvid u njegov život te sažet prikaz Salone kroz povijest. U nastavaku rada je prikazano Dyggveovo proučavanje salonitanskog lokaliteta kroz carsko i ranokršćansko razdoblje, a skupa s tim i dijelovi Salone od razvoja urbaniteta, opisa hrama, amfiteatra, foruma pa sve do većih bazilikalnih i cemetrijalnih kompleksa. Neupitno je da je njegov doprinos iskopavanja Salone od iznimne važnosti.
Abstract (english)
The final work is about studying Salona and analysing its elements through the perspective of Danish archeologist and arhitect Ejnar Dyggve. At the begnning of the work, it gives a brief insight into his life and a short summary of Salona through history. In the continuation of the work we can read something about Dyggve's study of the Salonitan territory during the imperial period and early-christian period and together with the parts of the Salona since the urban development and the descriptions of the temple, amphitheater, forum and even the descriptions of the larger basilics and cemetry complexes are presented. It is unquestionable that his contribution to excavating Salona is of utmost importance.
