Abstract
U suvremenom društvu neizostavna je upotreba informacijsko - komunikacijske tehnologije u svim segmentima ljudskoga života, kako u privatnom, tako i u poslovnom području. Samim time, tehnologija pronalazi ulogu i u odgojno-obrazovnom procesu čineći ga inovativnim, dinamičnim i kreativnim. Naravno, kako bi se stvorio takav nastavni proces, potrebni su digitalno obrazovani i kompetentni učitelji koji će svojim vještinama pridonijeti uspjehu i razvoju učenika. Najveći izazov učiteljima primarnog obrazovanja predstavlja predmet Priroda i društvo zbog svoje opširnosti i kompleksnosti sadržaja. Prilikom poučavanja, učitelji se služe različitim izvorima znanja i pomagalima, a kada je to potrebno, koriste didaktički oblikovanu stvarnost. Pri tome ključnu ulogu ima informacijsko - komunikacijska tehnologija koja podrazumijeva korištenje različitih digitalnih nastavnih materijala u učenju i poučavanju. Među brojnim mogućnostima, danas je sve više popularna upotreba digitalnih udžbenika u obrazovnom procesu. Korištenje digitalnih udžbenika olakšava usvajanje potrebnih znanja i vještina te osigurava usvajanje različitih kompetencija. Stoga je cilj diplomskog rada bio utvrditi prednosti digitalnog udžbenika prirode i društva u odnosu na tradicionalne udžbenike i ukazati na mogućnosti primjene. Rezultati ovog diplomskog rada mogu poslužiti studentima učiteljskog studija i učiteljima praktičarima kao temelj za promišljanje i primjenu digitalnog udžbenika u nastavi prirode i društva.
Abstract (english)
In the modern society the use of the IT technology is infallible in the all segments of humans' life, both in private and buisness area. This way, technology also has another purpose in educational process, making it inovative, dinamic and creative. Of course, to create a process like that, there is a need for digital educated and competent teachers who can contribute to students sucess and development. The biggest challenge for primary school teachers represents the nature science subject because of its extensive and complex content. While teaching, teachers use different knowledge sources and aids, and they also use didactically shaped reality when in need. Thereby, the IT technology has the main role because of its use of different digital materials in teaching. Among the many possibilities, the use of the digital textbooks in the teaching process is more and more popularised. The use of the digital textbooks makes the adoption of the needed knowledge and skills easier and provides adoption of the different competences. Therefore, the aim of this work was to establish digital textbooks' advantages in regards to traditional textbooks and point out the possibility of use. The results of this work can be used by primary teacher students and teacher practitioner as basis for deliberation and use of digital textbook in teaching nature science.
