Abstract
Selo Kijevo smješteno je u gornjem dijelu Dalmatinske Zagore između planina Dinare i Kozjaka pored kojih se nalaze rijeke Cetina i Krka. U selu se najčešće rade poljoprivrednostočarski poslovi pored kojih je netaknuta priroda gdje su rasprostranjene biljke i životinje tipične za dinarski kraj u kojem prevladava mediteransko-kontinentalni tip klime. Tijekom 20. stoljeća, Kijevo zahvaćaju ratne neprilike koje se javljaju sa Prvim i Drugim svjetskim ratom te Domovinskim ratom. Tijekom razdoblja ratova i poraća, stanovništvo Kijeva doživljava nagli pad broja stanovništva koje iseljava u brojne europske i svjetske države poput Njemačke, Sjedinjenih Američkih Država i druge. Tijekom 20. stoljeća brojni čimbenici doživljavaju promjene, najčešće vidljivi u svakodnevnom načinu života. Oni se očituju u gradnji kuća, načinu odijevanja, glazbi i plesu, zanimanjima ljudi, odnosima u zajednici, obrazovanju te ostalim običajima.
Abstract (english)
The village of Kijevo is located in the upper part of Dalmatian Hinterland between the mountains Dinara and Kozjak next to the rivers Cetina and Krka. The most common work done in the village is related to agriculture and farming which are surrounded by intact nature, rich with plants and animals typical for the Dinara area with a Mediterrarean–continental climate. During the 20th century, Kijevo participated in World War 1, World War 2 and the Homeland War. During the times of war and in between, Kijevo experienced a sharp drop in the number of people which moved in many European and world countries such as Germany, the United States of America etc. During the 20th century, there are many changing factors mostly noticcable in everyday life. Those factors are the construction of new types of houses, ways of dressing, traditional music and dance, people's professions, community relations, education and all other customs.
