Abstract
Hrvatski je standardni jezik autonoman vid jezika, stabilan u prostoru i elastično stabilan u vremenu, svjesno normiran i polifunkcionalan. Iako je uređen normom koja određuje pravilnost jezičnih jedinica u standardnome jeziku, svjedoci smo svakodnevnoga pronalaska pogrešaka u svim područjima, pa tako i u medijima. U ovome radu navedene su i analizirane pogreške koje su pronađene na plakatima i javnim natpisima unutar Splitsko-dalmatinske županije. Pogreške su pronađene na svim jezičnim razinama, a analiziranjem i proučavanjem literature donesen je zaključak da su i sami priručnici nedosljedni u propisivanju nekih jezičnih pitanja. To može predstavljati teškoće za govornike hrvatskoga jezika jer ne znaju čijemu se mišljenju prikloniti, a zbog toga postaju i nezainteresirani za svoj jezik. Zato bi govornike trebalo zainteresirati za vlastiti jezik te se usmjeriti na promicanje jezične kulture. Da bi se to provelo, na raspolaganju je mnoštvo jezičnih priručnika kao i televizijskih i radijskih emisija te internetskih portala kako bi govornici nadograđivali svoje znanje o jeziku.
Abstract (english)
Croatian standard language is an autonomous linguistic variety, stable in space and elastically stable in time, consciuosly normatized and polyfunctional. Although it is normatized by linguistic rules which determine the appropriateness of linguistic units in the standard variety, everyday we witness mistakes in all areas of discourse, among which are also the media. In this thesis we have listed and analyzed mistakes which appear on billboards and public signs in the Split-Dalmatia County. Mistakes occurred on all linguistic levels, and based on the analysis and theoretical underpinnings we have concluded that handbooks themselves are inconsistent in the normatization of certain linguistic issues. This can present a difficulty for Croatian speakers, as they are unsure whose opinion to side with, rendering them uninterested in their language. For this reason we should spark an interest in the speakers for their language and focus on promoting the cultivation of language. In order to do this, we have numerous linguistic handbooks at our disposal, as well as television and radio shows, and websites which can help speakers improve their language skills.
