Abstract
Problemi s kojima se odgojno-obrazovni sustav susretao mijenjali su se kroz povijest. Neki kriteriji koji su postojali u prošlosti , u današnjem vremenu nisu prihvatljivi. Škola kao institucija susreće se sa suvremenim izazovima u vidu učenika s teškoćama u razvoju. Odgovor na navedeni izazov škola kao institucija vidi u individualiziranome pristupu. Individualizirani pristup je pristup koji se u posljednje vrijeme sve više koristi u nastavi. Učitelji i stručnjaci smatraju da individualizirani rad uvelike pomaže i koristi razvoju učenikovih znanja i kompetencija. Stoga je cilj ovog rada bio ispitati kompetencije učitelja u korištenju individualiziranog pristupa u odgojno-obrazovnom radu i podršku okoline. Metodom ankete ispitivani su učitelji razredne nastave (n=123). Dobiveni podatci ukazali su na to da su učitelji uglavnom zadovoljni sa svojim radom ali i da rezultati stoje iza njih. Škola kao odgojno-obrazovna ustanova dužna je omogućiti dobre uvjete za rad, a prema mišljenju anketiranih učitelja škola uistinu uvelike pomaže u njihovu radu. Također stručni suradnici uvelike pomažu u realizaciji individualiziranih programa, a sami ispitani učitelji smatraju da je podrška stručnjaka jako korisna i pomaže im u radu.
Abstract (english)
The problems that the educational system has encountered have changed throughout history. Certain criteria that existed in the past are not acceptable in the present time. The school as an institution is faced with numerous contemporary challenges in regard to students with disabilities. The school finds the answer to such challenges as an institution with an individualized approach. Individualized instruction is an approach that has recently been increasingly used in teaching. What is more, teachers and experts believe that individualized learning greatly helps and benefits the development of students' knowledge and competences. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to examine teachers' competencies in using an individualized approach in the educational process as well as the support of the nearby environment. The quantitative survey method examined the class teachers (n = 123). Consequently, the data obtained indicated that teachers are generally satisfied with their work, but also that the given results confirm their efforts. The school, as an educational institution, is obliged to provide good working conditions, and in the opinion of the surveyed school teachers, it substantially aids in their work. In addition to this, professional assistants likewise greatly help in the realization of individualized programs, and the teachers themselves consider the support of experts to be particularly helpful in their own work.
