An overview of the ethnographic material about wedding customs. The work is the result of field research in the area of Cetina region applying semi-structured interview and video content analysis of recent wedding. The basic goal was to show how they looked predsvadbeni, bridal and postsvadbeni customs and traditions such as today. The research included informants from sites that belong to the following cities: Sinj, Trilj and Vrlika and municipalities: Hrvace, Island and Dicmo. Analysis of the interviews revealed that the wedding procedures everywhere was the same, but there were differences in customs. The greatest difference was observed in Vrlika, then Dicmo compared to other places. As for the differences in customs villages and small towns and the city, the difference in the number of participants, dressing, giving and singing. By analyzing the content of the video, we get an insight into the model's wedding today. We also analyzed a number of different places, but we have not noticed big differences. Weddings are modeled after the US, with only limited traditional customs, but although it is a custom to survive, the real meaning of it was lost. The main differences wedding today compared to those before in the number of participants, venue and donating.
