Abstract
Predmet istraživanja odnosi se na utjecaj masovnog turizma na kvalitetu života stanovnika Splita i njihov odnos prema turistima. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom ankete tijekom lipnja 2020. godine na uzorku od 328 stanovnika Splita. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, najveći udio ispitanika ne ostvaruje prihode unutar turizma. Mišljenja o turizmu su podijeljena, pri čemu ispitanici ističu kako ova djelatnost utječe na kvalitetu njihova života. Ispitanici koji procjenjuju negativnim utjecaj turizma na kvalitetu života smatraju kako postojeći model turizma ne može opstati na način na koji se razvijao do ljeta 2019. godine. Navode kako Split gubi svoju autentičnost jer se sve prilagođava turistima. Također, ističu kako posljednjih godina nema pozitivnih promjena u gradu. Za ispitanike koji ocjenjuju pozitivnim utjecaj turizma na kvalitetu života, Split posjeduje sve čimbenike potrebne turistima. Većina ispitanika smatra kako je lokalno stanovništvo naklonjeno turistima (45%). Ipak, značajan dio ukazuje na ravnodušnost (24,7%) ili neprijateljstvo (10%), što se može dovesti u vezu sa stavovima o nepovoljnom utjecaju turizma na istraživane elemente kvalitete života.
Abstract (english)
The subject of the research is the impact of mass tourism on the quality of life of the inhabitants of Split and their attitude towards tourists. The research was conducted using a survey method during June 2020 on a sample of 328 adult residents of Split. According to the obtained results, the largest share of respondents do not earn income within tourism. Opinions about tourism are divided, with respondents pointing out that this activity affects their quality of life. Respondents who hold the negative impact of tourism on the quality of life believe that the existing model of tourism cannot survive in the way it developed until the summer of 2019. They state that Split is losing its authenticity because everything is adapting to tourists. They also point out that there have been no positive changes in the city in recent years. Respondents who see the positive impact of tourism on the quality of life, point out that Split has everything that tourists need. Most respondents believe that the local population is friendly to tourists (45%). Nevertheless, a significant share indicates indifference (24.7%) or hostility (10%), which can be related to attitudes about the adverse impact of tourism on the included elements of quality of life.
