Abstract
Društvo koristi prirodni okoliš na različite načine i u različite svrhe. Ovim se istraživanjem ciljalo istražiti korištenje prirodnog okoliša kao virtualnog resursa u suvremenom oglašavanju. U suvremenom smo društvu okruženi oglasima i količinu informacija koju primamo svakodnevno tim putem gotovo je nemoguće izmjeriti. Kao medij komunikacije oglašavanje predstavlja jednog od najsnažnijih kanala komuniciranja infromacija i time ima znatan utjecaj na pojedince i društvo. Kakav odnos prema prirodnom okolišu suvremeno društvo reprezentira u oglasima, osnovno je istraživačko pitanje. Analizom sadržaja suvremenih oglasa objavljenim u tiskanim tjednicima u Republici Hrvatskoj, pokušao se istražiti odnos između elemenata prirodnog okoliša (vizualnih reprezentacija okoliša) i, s druge strane, prookolišne komunikacije i fenomena suvremenog oglašavanja. Istraživanjem je potvrđeno kako postoje različiti trendovi u korištenju elemenata prirodnog okoliša i prookolišne komunikacije, te kako postoje jasne razlike među kategorijama elemenata koje se pojavljuju.
Abstract (english)
Society uses the natural environment in different ways and for different purposes. The study aimed to explore the usage of the natural environment as virtual resources in contemporary advertising. In modern society, we are surrounded by advertisements and the amount of information we receive on a daily basis in this way is almost impossible to measure. As a medium of communication advertising is one of the most powerful channels of communicating information and thus has a significant impact on individuals and society. What kind of relationship does modern society represents in the ads in relation to natural environment, is the basic research question of the study. By analyzing the content of contemporary ads published in printed weekly newspapers in Croatia, the study attempted to explore the relationship between the elements of natural environment (visual representations of the environment) and, on the other hand, environmental communication within the phenomena of contemporary advertising. The study confirmed that there are different trends in regard to the usage of elements of the natural environment and environematal communication, and that there are clear distinctions between categories of elements that appear.
