Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je prikazati i objasniti važnost pedagoške kompetencije trenera. Kroz različite teorije i shvaćanja kompetencija i kompetencijskog pristupa u radu je objašnjena uloga trenera iz perspektive pedagogije. Prvi dio rada definira pojam kompetencije i prikazuje njezino pluralističko shvaćanje te shvaćanje pedagoške kompetencije općenito. U njemu su ujedno definirani sport i trening te prikazani višedimenzionalni aspekti sporta za djecu i mlade. Drugi dio rada razmatra različite uloge i funkcije pedagoške kompetencije trenera te su istaknute mogućnosti cjeloživotnog osposobljavanja trenera. Na kraju rada izdvajaju se etički problemi koji mogu nastati zbog nedovoljnog osposobljavanja sportskih trenera. Prikazom važnosti uloga koje ostvaruje trener i trenerove pedagoške kompetencije, radom se htjelo potaknuti trenere na preispitivanje vlastitih postupaka te želje za kontinuiranim poboljšanjem i cjeloživotnim usavršavanjem.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study is to present and explain the importance of pedagogical competence of coaches. Through different theories and understandings of competencies and competency approach, the role of the coach from the perspective of pedagogy is explained in the study. The first part of the paper defines the concept of competence and presents its pluralistic understanding and understanding of pedagogical competence in general. It also defines sports and training and presents multidimensional aspects of sports for children and youth. The second part of the paper discusses the educational role of the coach. The different roles and functions of the pedagogical competence of coaches are explained, and the possibilities of training coaches are highlighted. At the end of the paper, ethical problems that may arise due to insufficient training of sports coaches are emphasized. By showing the importance of the roles played by the coach and the coach's pedagogical competence, the study sought to encourage coaches to reconsider their own actions and the need for continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
