Abstract
Ovaj rad kroz etnografski pristup prikazuje svetkovinu Sinjske Velike Gospe, koja za Cetinski kraj igra važnu ulogu puna tri stoljeća. Podaci sakupljeni kroz metode intervjua i nestrukturiranog promatranja sa sudjelovanjem, iskorišteni su kako bi se pobliže dočarao hodočasnički aspekt svetkovine te uloga svetkovine za same građane Sinja, kao i za opis samih rituala tijekom dva glavna dana proslave. Smatra se kako svetkovina Velike Gospe u Sinju kroz nekoliko tjedana okupi do sto pedeset tisuća vjernika. Ova studija pobliže opisuje načine organizacije hodočašća, iskustva na putu prema Sinju te rituale i navike hodočasnika po dolasku u Sinj. Kroz kooperaciju crkvenih dužnosnika i lokalnih vlasti Velika Gospa u Sinju se kroz godine utiskuje u sjećanja i živote stanovnika. Približavanjem 300.-te obljetnice čudesne obrane Sinja stvaraju se projekti koji trebaju uveličati slavlje a pobliže su opisani u radu. Aspekt vjerskog turizma u Sinju još nije na razini većih marijanskih svetišta ali ipak postoji trend koji daje naslutiti da bi se takvo stanje moglo promijeniti.
Abstract (english)
Celebration of Our lady of Sinj is presented trough the ethnography approach, which plays important role for Cetina's corner for three full centuries. Data gathered through interviews and unstructured methods of participant observation, were used in order to more closely evoke the pilgrimage aspect of the feast and the role of the feast for the citizens of Sinj, as well as to description for two main day of the celebration. It is believed that the feast of the Assumption in Sinj trough several weeks assemble to hundred and fifty thousand believers. This study describes detail ways of organizing pilgrimages, experiences on the way to Sinj same as rituals and habits of pilgrims arrived in Sinj. Through the cooperation of church officials and local authorities Our Lady of Sinj over the years imprinted in the memories and lives of the population. There are several projects created to magnify the celebration of the approaching 300.-th anniversary of glorious defense of Sinj, which are more detailed described in paper. The aspect of religious tourism in Sinj is not yet at the level of major Marian shrines but there is a trend that suggests that such a situation could change.
