Young people today are going through a steep path to life success and fighting for their own place in society. The future of young people is built on their skills, determination and abilities. By fulfilling needs and desires they are more satisfied and happier. In this paper, a questionnaire surveyed 302 young people and their attitudes, opinions and satisfaction with certain aspects of quality of life and opportunities that the city provides. According to the results of the research, young people still live with their parents who depend on them and are not able to become independent, and previous research has also highlighted the production of leftovers from families, mainly due to their financial nature. They have work experience but most are not employed in the city and they believe that connections and good acquaintance presuppose them to get a job. They are skeptical and distrustful of the city administration and point out that the city does not guarantee any incentives when it comes to the problem of youth unemployment after completing formal education. Young people are motivated for changes in the city of Sinj, but dissatisfied with the offered content, programs and the possibility of cooperation and decision-making. Only one third of satisfied life is in Sinj, while the aspect of quality of life with which most young people are completely satisfied with relationships with friends, families and neighbors.
