Abstract
Učestalo korištenje mobilnih uređaja kod djece i mladih ljudi je relativno nova pojava koja rezultira temeljnim promjenama u načinu na koji se djeca ponašaju, razgovaraju provode vrijeme te grade odnose. Učestalo korištenje mobilnih uređaja dovodi do brojnih negativnih implikacija na socijalnu, psihološku i fizičku dobrobit djece i mladih ljudi. Često se javlja i ovisnost o pametnom telefonu te pojava vršnjačkog nasilja putem pametnog telefona. Pametni telefoni imaju i pozitivne učinke ako roditelji posreduju u dječjem korištenju te ga djeca koriste u svrhu učenja. Kako bi se navedena pojava regulirana važno je da roditelji budu uključeni u dječje korištenje tehnologije te posreduju na način da kontroliraju sadržaj i vrijeme provedeno na pametnom telefonu, pri čemu veliku ulogu ima medijsko opismenjavanje kako djece tako i roditelja. Istraživanjem se htjela ispitati učestalost korištenja pametnih telefona, posredovanje roditelja u korištenju tehnologije, ovisnost o pametnom telefonu, vršnjačko nasilje putem pametnog telefona te učenje uz korištenje pametnog telefona. Istraživanje je pokazalo da se navedene stavke uglavnom ne razlikuju s obzirom na spol i veličinu mjesta. Navedene stavke se razlikuju s obzirom na školski uspjeh i vrijeme provedeno na pametnom telefonu. S obzirom na razred, nema razlike u ovisnosti o pametnom telefonu i učenju uz korištenje pametnog telefona, dok se razlika javlja za pojavu vršnjačkog nasilja putem pametnog telefona te roditeljsko posredovanje u korištenju tehnologije.
Abstract (english)
Frequent use of mobile devices by children and young adults is a relatively new phenomenon that results in fundamental changes in the way children behave, talk, spend time and build personal relationships. Frequent use of mobile devices leads to a number of negative implications for the social, psychological and physical well-being of children and young adult. Smartphone addiction and the occurrence of peer violence via a smartphone are also common. Smartphones can have positive effects if parents mediate in children's use and if children use it for learning purposes. In order to regulate this phenomenon, it is important that parents get involved in their children's use of technology and mediate in a way that controls the content and time spent on a smartphone. In this case, media literacy plays an important role for both children and parents. The research sought to examine the frequency of smartphone use, parental intervention in the use of technology, smartphone addiction, peer violence via a smartphone, and learning with a smartphone. Research has shown that these items generally do not differ in terms of gender and the size of the place of residence. These items differ in terms of school achievement and time spent on the smartphone. Regarding the class, there is no difference in smartphone addiction and learning with a smartphone, while the difference occurs for the following items: peer violence via the smartphone and parental mediation in the use of technology.
