Everyone who has worked with a students of a primary education, will agree that the grading, as well as general success is a complicated and sensitiv part of nurturing – educational work, which is asking for a lot of responsability, objectivity and patience. The goal of this research was to question if there is a correlation between the general success and the grade in PE (Physical education) in classroom teaching. In this research were included the student from the «Middle School Vidici» from Šibenik. Longitudinal research was used. Longitudinal research includes repeatingly measurement at the same people, or the samples from the same population. His main purpose is to study the beginning, the flow of development and prevalence of some phenomena in the different generation groups, how the phenomena develops, starts and ends. Observing specific classroom department through the period of four years it was a goal to see if there is a correlation between the general success and the grade from PE. For the reaserch was elected the generation of clasroom teaching 2011./2015. Classroom department counts 18 students. The procedure of collecting the documentation was a inner-looking into educational documentation (school diaries and the main book). Results have shown that egzists weak positive correlation between the variables “success in PE” and “general success” on the respondents considering whole four years of education, i.e. the correlation is statisticly significant. In other words, the growth of one variable causes the growth of the second, and other way around. From that it is concluded that truly there is a correlation between the general success and the PE grade. Students who have better general success, also have a better grades from PE, and other way around. Reason for that could be added to the gentics as well to a responsible behaviour and effort of the students for the purpose to achive better general school success.
