Abstract
Taktika i strategija su temeljni dijelovi umijeća ratovanja. Njihov razvoj je kontinuiran tijekom vremena. Vojna taktika prati i izravno je povezana i ovisna o razvoju vojne tehnike. Može se smatrati kako vojna taktika predstavlja najbolje i najučinkovitije načine uporabe vojne tehnike u postizanju vojnih ciljeva. U radu se analiziraju osnovne odrednice vojne strategije do 19. stoljeća. Vojna taktika 19. stoljeća bila je podijeljena na taktiku pješaštva, topništva, konjice i ratne mornarice. U radu su analizirane taktike tih snaga koje su se razvijale u 19. stoljeću, kroz analizu organizacije, taktike djelovanja i (u određenoj mjeri) praktične primjene taktičkih principa u ratovima. Analizira se i utjecaj taktike 19. stoljeća na vođenje Prvog svjetskog rata te se zaključuje da je u 19. stoljeću došlo do značajnog razvoja vojne taktike koji je u izravnoj vezi s razvojem vojne tehnike.
Abstract (english)
Tactics and strategy are fundamental parts of art of warfare. Their development is continuous over time. Military tactics is directly related and dependent on the development of military techniques. Military tactics can be considered the best and most effective way to use military technology in achieving military objectives. This paper analyzes the basic determinants of military strategy up to the 19th century. 19th century military tactics were divided into infantry, artillery, cavalry, and navy tactics. The paper analyzes the tactics of these forces that have developed in the 19th century, through an analysis of organization, tactics (to some extent) and the practical application of tactical principles in wars. The influence of 19th century tactics on the conduct of the First World War is also analyzed and it is concluded that in the 19th century there was a significant development of military tactics which is directly related to the development of military technology.
