Abstract
Ovaj rad prikazuje i opisuje elemente korčulanske moreške te daje prikaz njezina povijesnoga razvoja. U radu je naglasak stavljen na različite mogućnosti djelovanja na očuvanju toga nematerijalnoga kulturnoga blaga. Grad Korčula, osim što obiluje prirodnim ljepotama, posjeduje bogatstvo kulture i povijesne baštine. Korčulanska moreška je samo jedan segment korčulanskih narodnih običaja i predaja. Korčula je bila vojni cilj brojnim osvajačima te je na taj način primala elemente različitih kultura, koji su integrirani u današnjoj baštini. Na očuvanju kulturne baštine, čiji je i moreška sastavni dio, važno je raditi i u školi, na način da se njeguje pozitivan odnos prema tradiciji i osjećaj pripadnosti zajednici. U tom je procesu iznimno značajna uloga učitelja koji će morešku, ali i druge oblike nematerijalne kulturne baštine, učenicima predstaviti, podržati ih u svladavanju njezinih elemenata te u njih razvijati potrebu za aktivnim kreativnim izražavanjem kroz taj oblik tradicijskoga nasljeđa te na taj način pridonijeti očuvanju moreške.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the Korčula's moreška as it is today and as it used to be. The emphasis is on preserving the intangible cultural heritage. The town of Korčula, in addition to abounding in natural beauty, possesses a wealth of culture and historical heritage. Korcula's moreška is only one part of folk customs and traditions. History shows that Korčula was attractive to many conquerors and thus received a piece of culture, which was integrated into today's heritage. Preserving culture is also tought in school, cultivating an attitude towards tradition and a sense of belonging in the community. This is encouraged by introducing a conversation about the Korčula's moreška in the classroom, as well as dealing with music and passing on culture to new generations. It is important to mention this example of tradition during classes, which is passed down for years for the reason that it raises awareness of the preservation of cultural heritage.
