Abstract
Terapija igrom predstavlja teoretski te strukturiran pristup koji je utemeljen na procesima za razvoj komunikacije i učenja. Igra za dijete predstavlja temeljni prirodni medij za izražavanje. Na taj način terapija igrom omogućuje djeci svojstven univerzalan način izražavanja. Djeca koriste igračke koje u tom pogledu služe kao medij „riječi“. Djeca putem igračaka prenose svoje vlastite osjećaje na objekt. Vidljivo je kako je terapija igrom vrlo kvalitetan postupak kojim se omogućuje djeci spoznavanje njihova unutarnjeg svijeta, poboljšanja socijalnog razumijevanja i drugih aspekata razvoja. Temeljni cilj koji terapeut treba postići je povjerenje i održavanje pozitivne atmosfere u kojoj će dijete izraziti sav svoj potencijal.
Abstract (english)
Play therapy is a theoretical and structured approach based on processes for the development of communication and learning. Child play is a fundamental natural medium for expression. In this way, play therapy provides children with an inherent universal way of expression. Children use toys that in this respect serve as a medium of "words". Children transmit their own feelings to the object through toys. It is evident that play therapy is a very high quality procedure that allows children to learn about their inner world, improve social understanding and other aspects of development. The basic goal that the therapist should achieve is trust and maintaining a positive atmosphere in which the child will express his full potential.
