Abstract
Varaždinski govor prepun je posuđenica iz njemačkog jezika te su se one toliko duboko ukorijenile da malo tko zna dolaze li iz njemačkog govornog područja ili su izvornog podrijetla. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi zastupljenost germanizama u Varaždinu. Rad je podijeljen u nekoliko poglavlja. U prvom dijelu rada opisan je povijesni i društveno - kulturni kontakt njemačkog i hrvatskog jezika odnosno utjecaj germanofonskih doseljenika na području Varaždina. U drugom poglavlju navedene su neke od definicija germanizama te nakon toga slijedi adaptacija germanizama u hrvatskom jeziku. U središnjem i najopsežnijem dijelu rada opisano je istraživanje u kojem su abecednim redom navedeni i analizirani varaždinski germanizmi. Na samom kraju rada ukratko su opisani rezultati istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
The Varaždin colloquial language is full of loanwords from German language, which are so deeply rooted that only few know whether they are indigenous or they originate from the German-speaking area. The aim of this work is to determine the representation of Germanisms in Varaždin. The work is divided into several chapters. The first part of the paper describes the historical and socio-cultural contact between German and Croatian, i.e. the influence of German-speaking settlers in the Varaždin area. In the second chapter, some of the definitions of Germanisms are listed, followed by the adaptation of Germanisms in the Croatian language. In the central and most extensive part of the work, the research is presented, Varaždin Germanisms are listed and analyzed in alphabetical order. At the very end of the paper, the research results are briefly described.
