Abstract
Medij stripa u prošlosti je smatram nečim trivijalnim, nazivan često sporednom umjetnošću. Razvojem lingvističkih disciplina, stripovni stil postaje zanimljiv brojnim teoretičarima i stilističarima upravo zbog svoje složene semiotičke prirode. Stoga je stripovni tekst više od lingvističkog fenomena, on je i multimodalan sustav organiziranih modusa u kulturološkom okviru. U ovom radu naglasak je na multimodalnom prikazu trojice likova proučavane Grupe TNT: glavnom „junaku“ Alanu Fordu, njegovu partneru Bobu Rocku te vođi Grupe, Broju Jedan. Cilj je ovoga rada da analizom osnovnih obilježja stripa i suodnosa vizualnih i jezičnih elemenata u prikazu trojice analiziranih likova prikažem na koji način Bunker i Magnus čitatelju prenose svoje ideje i misli, kako prikazuju likove na jezičnoj i slikovnoj razini te tako stvaraju posebnu dinamiku stripa. U radu se upotrebljavaju analitički pojmovi i alati nastali na susretištu strukturalističke stilistike i diskursne stilistike te sociosemiotičke struje multimodalne stilistike, prvenstveno s fokusom na sliku i jezični aspekt.
Abstract (english)
In the past, the medium of comics was considered to be something trivial, often referred to as secondary art. Along with the development of linguistic disciplines, comic book style became interesting to numerous theorists and stylists, precisely because of its complex semiotic nature. Therefore, comic text is actually more than a linguistic phenomenon; it is also a multimodal system of organized modes in a cultural framework. In this paper, the emphasis is put on the multimodal presentation of the three characters of the studied TNT group: the main "hero" Alan Ford, his partner Bob Rock and the leader of the group, Number One. The aim of this paper is to analyze the basic features of the comic and the correlation of visual and linguistic elements in the portrayal of the three analyzed characters to show how Bunker and Magnus conveyed their ideas and thoughts to the reader; how they portrayed the characters on a linguistic and pictorial level and, thus, created a special dynamic of the comic. Analytical concepts and tools created at the meeting point of structural and discourse stylistics and the social semiotic current of multimodal stylistics are used, primarily focusing on the image and linguistic aspect.
