Abstract
La tesi si incentra sull’analisi del discorso della presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, e cerca di esaminare quali sono le particolarità del linguaggio politico della premier. Esse vengono analizzate e interpretate per poter capire in fondo i messaggi e le armi del potere che si nascondono dietro il suo discorso. La parte teorica della tesi tratta il discorso in generale e spiega i vari approcci all’analisi del discorso, come anche le peculiarità del linguaggio politico e una breve storia del linguaggio politico italiano. Si fa l’analisi critica del discorso di Giorgia Meloni alla Camera per la fiducia al Governo, dopo le elezioni del 2022. Essa include l’analisi tematica e l’analisi delle strategie funzionali e linguistiche, come, per esempio, la coercizione, la legittimazione e la delegittimazione, la metafora e altre. Una breve parte dell’analisi include anche la comunicazione non verbale e paraverbale.
Abstract (english)
This paper concentrates on a discourse of Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and aims to examine the specifics of the political discourse and analyse them in order to understand the concept of power that lays beneath the language. The theoretical framework deals with the concept of discourse in general and explains various approaches to political discourse, as well as political strategies, and a short history of Italian political discourse. In order to do this, the paper engaged the CDA, and the discourse which is analysed is the one by Giorgia Meloni back in 2022 after the election. The CDA in the paper includes thematic suddivison and analysis of functional and linguistic strategies, e.g. coercion, legitimization and delegitimization, metaphor and others. It also addresses shortly the aspects of nonverbal and paraverbal communication.
