Abstract
Poremećaji iz spektra autizma (PSA) složeni su neurorazvojni poremećaji iz kategorije pervazivnih razvojnih poremećaja koji se javljaju u ranom djetinjstvu, većinom u prve tri godine djetetova života i traju cijeli njegov život. Uzrok još uvijek nije poznat, te zbog različitih oblika i karakteristika vrlo često bivaju zamijenjeni nekim drugim poremećajem koji ima slične simptome. Kod ovih poremećaja veliku ulogu ima rana intervencija i dijagnostika kako bi se na što bolji način pristupilo djetetu i omogućilo mu kvalitetu života. Odgojitelji se u radu s djecom s PSA susreću s mnogim izazovima stoga ključnu ulogu imaju stručna usavršavanja odgojitelja, to jest njihova educiranost u području rada s djetetom s PSA. Motiviranost odgojitelja, inkluzivni pristup i kontinuirano usavršavanje imaju značajnu ulogu u stvaranju optimalnih uvjeta i pružanju kvalitetne i pravovremene pomoći i podrške djetetu s PSA. U ovome radu bio je cilj istražiti mišljenja odgojitelja o njihovoj spremnosti i kompetentnosti u radu s djecom s PSA, vještinama primjene potpomognute komunikacije u svakodnevnim aktivnostima te ulozi stručnog tima i ustanove u pružanju pomoći i podrške u radu s djecom s PSA i stvaranju inkluzivnih uvjeta.
Abstract (english)
Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are complex neurodevelopmental disorders from the category of pervasive developmental disorders that appear in early childhood, mostly in the first three years of a child's life, and last their entire life. The cause is still unknown, and due to their different forms and characteristics, they are often mistaken for another disorder with similar symptoms. With these disorders, early intervention and diagnosis play a major role in order to approach the child in the best possible way and provide him with quality of life. Educators face many challenges when working with children with ASD, therefore the professional training of educators plays a key role, that is, their education in the field of working with children with ASD. The motivation of educators, an inclusive approach and continuous training play a significant role in creating optimal conditions and providing quality and timely help and support to a child with ASD. In this paper, the aim was to investigate the opinions of educators about their readiness and competence in working with children with ASD the skills of applying assisted communication in everyday activities, and the role of the professional team and institution in providing help and support in working with children with ASD and creating inclusive conditions.
