Abstract
S obzirom na to da je svaki čovjek jedinka za sebe, jasno je kako se kod svakoga javljaju drugačiji oblici poticaja te njihov intenzitet. Iako ne postoji jasno određena definicija svega navedenog, može se reći kako se radi o motivaciji. U ovom se diplomskom radu ispitivalo u kolikoj je mjeri COVID-19 pandemija utjecala na motivaciju studenata za studiranje, to jest kako je novonastala situacija utjecala na ponašanje, razmišljanje i emocije studenata za vrijeme održavanja nastave na daljinu. Glavna je hipoteza bila da je COVID-19 pandemija imala utjecaj na samopouzdanje i motivaciju studenata za studiranje. Za potrebe istraživanja konstruirana je anketa pod naslovom Uloga COVID-19 pandemije u motivaciji studenata za studiranje. U istraživanju je sudjelovao 121 sudionik. Ispitanici su studenti diplomskog, preddiplomskog te integriranog preddiplomskog i diplomskog studija. Prema rezultatima provedenog istraživanja, većina studenata smatra kako je kvaliteta online predavanja manja u odnosu na klasičan oblik predavanja licem u lice. Također, velik broj studenata nije razmišljao o nekom od oblika prekida studiranja. Iako se dobar dio studenata osjećao samopouzdano, određeni broj studenata nije bio siguran u svoje samopouzdanje. Što se tiče razine motivacije studenata, ona ovisi o komponentama koje su se ispitivale pa tako postoje nesrazmjeri u rezultatima.
Abstract (english)
Considering that each person is an individual, it is clear that different forms of stimulation and their intensity appear in each person. Although there is no strictly given definition of all of the above, it can be said that it comes to motivation. In this graduation thesis, the extent to which the COVID-19 pandemic affected students' motivation to study was examined, that is, how the newly created situation affected students' behavior, thinking, and emotions during distance learning. The main hypothesis is that the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on students' self-confidence and motivation to study. For the research purposes, a survey entitled The Role of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Students' Motivation to Study was developed. 121 participants took part in the research. The respondents are graduate, undergraduate, and integrated undergraduate and graduate students. According to the results of the conducted research, most students believe that the quality of online lectures is lower compared to the classic form of face-to-face lectures. Also, many students did not think about any form of cease of studies. Although a great part of students felt confident, a certain number of students were not sure of their self-confidence. As for the level of students' motivation, it depends on the components that were examined, so there are disparities in the results.
