Abstract
U ovom radu analizira se pojam mase u djelima autora Eliasa Canettija te Karla Jaspersa. Polazeći od Canettija iznosi se detaljna podjela i karakteristike mase dok se u drugom dijelu iznosi Jaspersovo viđenje gdje je masa opisana pomoću pojedinca i njegovog položaja u masi s obzirom na duhovnu situaciju vremena. Masovni poredak stvara prosječnost, ali čovjek se pomoću racionalnog i kritičkog razmišljanja može prepustit masi u onom intenzitetu u kojem želi. Na samom kraju iznose se sličnosti i razlike dvojice autora s obzirom na njihova stajališta. Čovjek treba težiti vlastitom ostvarenju i djelovati za dobrobit mase.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyses the notion of crowd in the works of Elias Canetti and Karl Jaspers. Starting from Canetti, the detailed division and characteristics of the crowds are introduced while the second part introduces Jasper's view where the crowd is described by the individual and his position in it regarding the spiritual situation of the age. The crowd order creates mediocrity, but with the rational and critical thinking man can let himself in to the crowds in the intensity which he wants. At the very end the similarities and differences of the two authors regarding their views are being introduced. Man needs to strive to his own achievement and work for the wellbeing of the crowd.
