Abstract
Dopo aver analizzato i francesismi penetrati nel lessico italiano, si potrebbe dire che queste due lingue sono strettamente collegate in ogni senso, particolarmente per il fatto che si tratti delle due lingue che hanno la stessa origine romanza. Abbiamo visto come si complementano, come le parole francesi entrano nellʼitaliano e viceversa. Già nei primi secoli lʼinflusso era notevole, dovuto alla vicinanza dei due paesi e alla cultura e lo stile della vita simili. Non si deve scordare anche lʼinfluenza della letteratura francese imitata da molti scrittori, che a volte scrivevano intenzionalmente in francese. Gran impatto ѐ visibile ancor oggi, però prevalgono gli anglicismi, specialmente nella lingua dei mass media. Comunque, il francese definitivamente rimarrà la lingua che ha arrichito di più il lessico italiano.
