Abstract
U prvom dijelu rada iznosi se kratak povijesni pregled razvoja feminizma: od svojih preteča, političkih začetaka, intenziviranja u drugoj polovini dvadesetog stoljeća te naposljetku disperzije u feminizme. Sociopolitički feminizam obilježen je s tri vala, u prvom naglašena se podjednaka prava, u drugom određivanje specifičnosti spolnih razlika, a u trećem raznovrsnost. U akademskom feminizmu značajna je pojava Women's Studies, ginokritike, arahnologije i écriture feminine. Drugi dio rada bavi se postmodernim romanom Dubravke Ugrešić Baba Jaga je snijela jaje, s naglaskom na temi starenja. Dovodi se u vezu s djelom Mit o ljepoti trećevalne američke feministkinje Naomi Wolf: uspoređuje se njezina Željezna djeva s obilježjima Babe Jage. Starenje se promatra s feminističke perspektive kao nestajanje žene zbog nestanka njenog tijela.
Abstract (english)
In the first part of the work is a brief historical overview of the development of feminism: from its forerunners, the political origins, intensifying in the second half of the twentieth century and finally dispersion in feminisms. The sociopolitical feminism is marked with three waves, the first emphasized the equal rights, the second specificity of gender differences, and the third variety. In academic feminism important occurrences were Women's Studies, gynocriticism, arachnology and ecriture feminine. The second part deals with the post-modern novel, Dubravka Ugrešić's Baba Yaga Laid an Egg, focusing on the topic of aging. It is associated with the work Beauty Myth by third-wave American feminist Naomi Wolf comparing its Iron Maiden to the characteristics of Baba Yaga. Aging is viewed from a feminist perspective as the disappearance of a woman because of the disappearance of her body.
