Abstract
Sociološko istraţivanje kvalitete ţivota Hrvata u Njemačkoj provedeno je case study metodom na temelju polustrukturiranog intervjua i sekundarne analize. S obzirom na masovno iseljavanje u inozemstvo, kao i izrazitu društvenu i individualnu vaţnost kvalitete ţivota, ovo istraţivanje utemeljeno je na razmatranju tog koncepta u najpoţeljnijoj zemlji za Hrvate prema statističkim podacima. Predmet istraţivanja bila je kvaliteta ţivota Hrvata u Njemačkoj, a cilj je bio otkriti kako sudionici procjenjuju kvalitetu vlastitog ţivota. Rezultati istraţivanja ukazuju na ekonomsku situaciju kao glavni razlog iseljavanja, te zadovoljstvo Hrvata ţivotom u Njemačkoj.
Abstract (english)
The sociological study of the quality of life of Croats in Germany was carried out by a case study method based on semi-structured interviews and secondary analyzes. With regard to mass emigration overseas, as well as the marked social and individual importance of quality of life, this research is based on consideration of this concept in the most desirable country for Croats according to statistical data. The subject of the research was the quality of life of Croatians in Germany, and the aim was to find out how participants evaluate the quality of their own life. The research results point to the economic situation as the main reason for emigration, and the pleasure of Croatians living in Germany.
