Abstract
L’obiettivo di questo lavoro è di presentare una nuova disciplina linguistica ‒ la linguistica dei corpora. Nella prima parte viene descritta la nascita della linguistica dei corpora insieme ai rappresentanti più importanti e ai concetti chiave che sono necessari per comprendere questa disciplina linguistica. Per la ricerca viene usato il Corpus di Italiano Scritto ‒ CORIS/CODIS per poter identificare le funzioni e le posizioni che la parola ‘quindi’ può svolgere. Avvalendosi dei vari dizionari ed enciclopedie della lingua italiana, vengono prima definite le funzioni della parola ‘quindi’ e in seguito esse vengono rappresentate e analizzate dettagliatamente attraverso esempi dei quotidiani italiani estratti dal CORIS/CODIS. Alla fine, vengono sottolineate le più usate funzioni e posizioni della parola ‘quindi’ nell’italiano contemporaneo.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this research is to introduce a new branch of linguistics ‒ corpus linguistics. In the first part of the research birth of corpus linguistics as well as the most important representatives and key concepts which are essential for understanding of this branch of linguistics are described. The Corpus of Written Italian ‒ CORIS/CODIS is used in the research in order to identify functions and positions which the word ‘quindi’ can have. Using a few dictionaries and encyclopaedias of Italian language, firstly the functions of the word ‘quindi’ are defined and afterwards they are represented and analysed in detail through examples of Italian daily newspapers extracted from CORIS/CODIS. Last of all, the most frequent functions and positions of the word ‘quindi’ in contemporary Italian are highlighted. Cilj ovog rada je predstaviti novu granu lingvistike ‒ korpusnu lingvistiku. U prvom dijelu opisan je postanak korpusne lingvistike kao i najvažniji predstavnici i ključni pojmovi nužni za razumijevanje ove grane lingvistike. U istraživanju je korišten korpus talijanskog jezika ‒ CORIS/CODIS s ciljem utvrđivanja funkcija i mjesta u rečenici koje riječ 'quindi' može imati. Korištenjem nekoliko rječnika i enciklopedija talijanskog jezika, prvo su definirane funkcije riječi 'quindi', a zatim su predstavljene i detaljno analizirane kroz primjere iz talijanskih dnevnih novina izvučenih iz CORIS/CODIS-a. Naposljetku su naglašene najčešće funkcije i mjesta koje riječ 'quindi' može zauzimati u rečenici u suvremenom talijanskom jeziku.
