Abstract
Glavni cilj ovog rada bio je analizirati život, naročito pedagoški rad trojice značajnih teoretičara odgoja i obrazovanja koji su ostavili velik trag u progresivnoj teoriji i praksi: Ivana Ilicha, Alexandera Neilla i Paola Freirea. Jednako važni i utjecajni širili su svoje ideje i rad u prošlom stoljeću suočavajući se s brojnim kritikama i otporima. Odmak od konvencionalnog obrazovanja, težnja ka slobodi i odsustvu autoriteta, promicanje neformalnog i informalnog učenja, pedagoški pluralizam i demokratičnost glavne su značajke njihova rada. Njihova ustrajnost i dosljednost onome čemu su se posvetili učinili su to da su danas njihova imena i rad poznati diljem svijeta te su isti zaslužni, barem dijelom, za obrazovanje kakvo danas poznajemo.
Abstract (english)
The main purpose of this paper was to analyze the life, especially the pedagogical work of three significant theoreticians of education who have left a great mark in progressive theory and practice: Ivan Illich, Alexander Neill and Paolo Freire. Equally important and influential, they spread their ideas and work in the past century faced with countless criticisms and resistances. Departure of conventional education, the tendency to freedom and the absence of authority, the promotion of informal and non-formal learning, pedagogical pluralism and democratic are the main features of their work. Their persistence and consistency with what they have devoted to made their names and work today known around the world and they are worthy, at least partially, for the education we know today.
