Abstract
U Hrvatskoj je pronađeno nekoliko ostava srebrnih predmeta, među kojima i četrdeset i pet predmeta pronađenih u Vinkovcima prozvanih Vinkovačko blago, koje se smatra jednim od pet najvrjednijih ostava srebrnih predmeta iz razdoblja kasne antike, odnosno iz zadnjih stoljeća Rimskog Carstva. Uz Vinkovačko blago ovaj rad obrađuje blago pronađeno u Prosiku blizu Solina i Seusovo blago, čije je mjesto pronalaska nepoznato, ali za koje se vjerovalo da je pronađenu u vojnom kampu Barbariga pokraj Pule. Cilj ovog rada je izložiti povijesne okolnosti nastanka spomenutih ostava srebrnih predmeta, izložiti važnost koju one imaju za kulturnu baštinu države, te na temelju primjera Seusovog blaga izložiti neke probleme s kojima se grana povijesti umjetnosti može suočiti u slučaju da je mjesto pronalaska nekog antikviteta ili umjetničkog djela nepoznato te da o njemu ne postoji nikakva dokumentacija. Uz inicijalan detaljni opis Seusovog blaga, predmeta koji ga sačinjavaju i njegovog puta do mjesta gdje je izloženo danas, opisana će biti veza između umjetnosti, povijesti umjetnosti i organiziranog kriminala, na temelju čega će biti pisano o krivotvorenju dokumenata, preprodaji otuđenih umjetničkih predmeta i antikviteta, i tome što se dogodi kada se pojave sva tri faktora kao kod primjera Seusovog blaga.
Abstract (english)
There are several hoards of silver found in Croatia, among which is the forty-five artefacts found in Vinkovci named the Vinkovci treasure, which is considered to be one of five most valuable hoards of silver from late antiquity, or rather the last centuries of the Roman Empire. Along with the Vinkovci treasure this paper deals with the treasure found in Prosik near Solin, and the Sevso treasure, the finding place of which is unknown but was believed to have been found in Barbariga army camp near Pula. The premise of this paper is to showcase historical circumstances in which mentioned hoards were made and to showcase their importance for the cultural heritage of the country, as well as outline some problems which the branch of art history can encounter in case the finding place of an antiquity or and artwork is unknown, and there is no documentation of it on the example of the Sevso treasure. Beside the initial detailed description of the Sevso treasure, the artefacts that compose it and its journey to the place it is kept at today, this paper will describe the relationship between art, history of art and organized crime, on basis of which document forging, trafficking of illicit artworks and antiquities shall be discussed, and what happens when all three connect, on the example of the Sevso treasure.
