The first chapter deals with the historical review and development of the film until the release of the film equipment that recorded the first films. The notion of film and cinematography is explained. The second chapter gives an overview of the film's division into a film discipline or race, which is one of the most historically deepest and most stable divisions of the film. In the third chapter, an animated film was presented. The concept of the animation of this animated film, the cinematic animation models and the most important technical innovators that have enabled these models have been explained. Also presented are the most frequent divisions and categorization of an animated film and an elaboration of a mostly classical animated film is explained. The fourth chapter lists the names of drafters, animators, authors, directors, screenwriters and producers who are key to the historical development of an animated film. Their contribution to animation, inventions that are part of the animation development, and key works from their opus are described. The fifth chapter presents the cartoon realism of Walt Disney and the Disney Animated Film School. The sixth chapter represents the Zagreb School of Animated Film and gives a comparison with the Disney School that is significantly different. In the seventh chapter there are animated films festivals all over the world and is told about the most important film festival in the world. In the eighth chapter, two of the most prestigious awards for the animated film include Oscar and the Golden Globe.
